Inmate Considerations for Special Populations

For this assignment, three different inmates will be presented. You must write a 3-5 page paper indicating what special considerations should be addressed for each of the three inmates. Use the book and other sources to explain what each of them can expect to encounter while serving their sentences.

Inmate 1:

Charlie B. is a drug addict charged with a violent crime and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Inmate 2:

Linus W. is a 40-year-old diagnosed with HIV and charged with the attempted murder of his girlfriend.

Inmate 3:

Snoopy B. is a 72-year-old male sentenced to life for killing a clerk at a convenience store during a robbery.
