With so much information available online, it's important to be able to locate reliable, high-quality information. 

The resources you choose to use for your academic research will determine it's credibility. Typically, sources are evaluated according to the 5 Ws (and an H): WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and WHY.  Additionally, it's important to consider HOW a source was published concerning its appearance, in particular the look and organization of the content. 

These same standards also apply to the evaluation of web pages and websites where critical thinking is an crucial part of the research process.
