For nearly every article or e-book you find in the Library, there is a citation assistance feature which will show you how to cite the item in APA format. Below are some examples:

In EBSCO databases, click on the title of an item to open the detailed record page.
In the upper right side of the screen you’ll see the quotation marks. Click on that. See the example below:
You will see examples of how to cite the item in several styles. Select APA from the drop down menu to see that format.
You will also see the Cite button after opening PDF Full Text or HTML Full Text articles, and after opening eBooks.
In some of the individual databases, the cite button is in a different location.
In Gale eBooks, open an item, then click on Citation Tools
In ProQuest databases, open an item and click on Cite in the download box to the right of the article.
IMPORTANT INFO:
The APA info from the Cite button should be mostly correct, but it is ALWAYS a good idea to double check it against APA rules just in case there is a mistake or a change. The citation suggestions are made from a computer script looking for matches in the publication information about the document, they're not hand-crafted by human APA experts. Some common changes you'll need to make to the citation are fixing capitalization of book or article titles and checking that the page numbers are correct.
