Florida Electronic LibraryThe Florida Electronic Library (FEL) is a gateway to: electronic magazines, newspapers, almanacs, encyclopedias and books, and the Ask a Librarian reference service.
• Access to a core collection of licensed online resources and virtual reference works.
• A collaborative virtual reference service that helps all Florida citizens.
• A catalog of Florida library holdings that supports an interlibrary loan service.
• Access the digital collections of Florida on Florida and Florida Memory.
FEL uses a technology called Geo-IP authentication, which checks the IP address of the device you use to access the resources and compares it to a database of all IPs known to originate within Florida. Once your IP address is validated, you can access FEL online resources without being asked for any logon or password.
