Guide to APA Academic Writer

Why Create an Account?

The Reference and Writing Centers in Academic Writer require creating a free account.  You can use any email address you wish to create the account.  In our testing, Chrome and other browsers tend to remember our email and password using their password management tools, so you should rarely have to re-enter them.  However, if you only wish to use the Learning Center's tutorials, templates, and examples, you do not need an account.

After registering, just click Welcome then Log In each time you access Academic Writer, or wait until prompted when you try to access anything in the Reference or Writing Centers.

How to Create an Academic Writer Account

To create an account:

  • Click Welcome, then Log In.
