What’s happening?
Starting today, EBSCO’s Business Source Complete has been upgraded to Business Source Ultimate.
How do I start using this resource?
Access to Business Source Ultimate is at the same link as before:
library.purdueglobal.edu/businesssource
What does that mean?
The Ultimate edition of Business Source adds more active peer-reviewed full-text journals, more top business publications, more business videos, Standard & Poor’s Industry Surveys, and ahead-of-print content from several publishers including Springs, Sage, and Wiley. This is all in addition to the company lists and profiles and current business research already previously available in the Complete edition.
Isn’t the search box on the Library’s website EBSCO too?
Yes, it’s from the same vendor and all of the journal content in Business Source Ultimate and most other content is integrated into EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS). However, for business researchers specifically, you’ll benefit from going to the direct interface for Business Source Ultimate if you are looking for company and industry information, as there are additional tools there not available in EDS.
Anything else I should know?
For faculty: Previously not allowed, you can now integrate Harvard Business Review articles into course reading lists and assignments.
