About My EBSCOhost Personalization Accounts

Want to get the most out of using EBSCO Discovery Service, EBSCO eBooks and other EBSCO databases like Academic Search Complete?  Creating a FREE My EBSCOhost account can help save you time in your research and enable options to personalize your search experience.  Whenever you sign in to any of EBSCO's resources and databases, you will be able to save search results, persistent links to searches, search alerts, journal alerts, and web pages to your personal My EBSCOhost folder.

The Best Way to Sign-in: Your Google Account

Now you can sign in with a Google account, including your PG email (@student.purdueglobal.edu for students or @purdueglobal.edu for faculty and staff).

To enable this, after accessing EBSCO databases or EBSCO Discovery Service using your PG Campus account:

1. Click Sign In in the toolbar at the top

2. Click the Sign in with Google option when prompted.

Bonus feature: Sign-in with Google for up to 1 year!

Signing in with Google once after logging in with your PG Campus account will allow you to sign in with just Google for up to 1 year!  This is a great feature for power users especially.  Just visit search.ebscohost.com as a starting point to take advantage of this option, instead of the library's homepage after your first sign in.  This allows you to sign in with just one link and automatically see your personalized folders and research.

For more details and documentation visit our F.A.Q.

To keep up to date with this feature in EBSCO, as well as see links to a video and further documentation, visit the PG Library's F.A.Q. on My EBSCOhost accounts.
